I am a senior developer working on a well-known AAA title. Several months ago, I was interviewed by a games journalist and I spoke to him with the agreement that I wouldn’t be identified. When the interview was published, I was horrified to see that the “fake name” that I had been given was literally my real first name, so that it said “[Name}, who did not want to be identified…” in the article.
